• National Library of Australia
  Storing a wide range of historical pictures from all over Australia.

• John Oxley Library
  The John Oxley Library is part of the Queensland Library and has historical pictures and information.

• Brisbane History Group
  Plenty of useful information, especially “BHG Studies No. 2: Brisbane House Styles 1880 to 1940 – A Guide to the Affordable House”.

• The Royal Historical Society of Queensland
  There are historical societies scattered throughout Queensland and these can be of great assistance when researching historical information.
